Gardaí have begun an investigation after €1.2m worth of illegal drugs were discovered in the Co Laois/Carlow border on Friday.
It is understood the investigation comes after the drugs believed to be cannabis were found in a ditch.
Gardaí say the 62kgs were worth an estimated €1.2m.
They added that no arrests have yet been made.
