Gardaí in Co Sligo have arrested two adults as part of an investigation into into illegal money lending.
It is understood the two individuals were arrested on suspicion of extortion earlier today.
Gardaí say the 46-year-old man and 42-year-old woman are currently being held under Section 17 of the Criminal Justice Public Order Act 1994.
They also say a 17-year-old female was arrested and has since been released without charge.
