Gardai in Dundalk issue age-progression of missing woman

Gardaí in Dundalk have reissued their appeal for information about a girl who went missing  from the town 17 years ago by issuing an age-progression photograph.

17 year old Ciara Breen went missing from her home on Bachelor’s Walk in Dundalk town in the early hours of the morning of February 13, 1997. Ms Breen is described as being of slim build, with a sallow complexion, long dark hair and blue eyes. When she was last seen she was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, wine coloured sweatshirt and a white t-shirt with an image of her own face on it.
She was also wearing a black leather wrist watch with a square face and green background.

Gardaí have said two potential witnesses have recently come forward and have been of great assistance to the investigation team. Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have information on Ciara’s disappearance or who may have seen her on the night/morning of her disappearance are asked to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042-9388400, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
