Gardai have launched an investigation following a hit-and-run incident in an Irish county.
The incident happened in Kildare on Tuesday. A woman in her 40s was seriously injured in the collision.
Gardai have said that a blue Ford Focus hatchback was involved in the accident. This vehicle did not remain at the scene.
