Gardai have launched an investigation following a mysterious fire at a vacant property in Co. Kildare.
It is understood that the property, sited in Leixlip, went on fire earlier today.
The property caught fire shortly after rumours began circulating online that asylum seekers would be housed there. It is unclear if this was actually the plan for that particular property.
