Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body in west Cork.
The body, believed to be that of a male in his 50s, was found by a member of the public in the Quay area of Bantry shortly before 10am on Bank Holiday Monday.
A post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.
