Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body inside a house in Co. Mayo overnight.
The body was found inside a property in the village of Swinford at around 11pm on Monday night. Gardai believe that the deceased, a male in his 20s, was the victim of an assault.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with this incident.
