Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body inside a house in the south of the country.
The body, believed to be that of a man in his 40s, was found inside a property in the Curraheen area, near Bishopstown in Cork. It is understood that the body might have been there for a period of time before being found.
Gardai are treating the death as ‘suspicious.’ A post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.
