Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a young woman’s body near an Irish city over the weekend.
The body, believed to be that of a 21-year-old female, was discovered by passers-by in the Ferrybank area of Co. Waterford on Saturday afternoon.
The body was removed to University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Gardai do not suspect foul play.
