Gardai re-issue appeal for social media sharing of missing Cork man Christophe Gouttem

Gardaí in Co Cork have re-issued an appeal to the public for their assistance in order to help trace the whereabouts of missing Midleton man Christophe Gouttem.

Christophe, 53, a French national who has been living in Ireland for a number of years has been missing from his home in O’Brien Terrace, Midleton since Wednesday, January 15.

Gardaí say Christophe has not been seen since he was spotted leaving work in Carrigtowhill, Cork at approximately 11am on Wednesday, January 15th.

It is understood Christophe got on a bus at Cork Bus Station on Wednesday 15 and got off at approximately 5.35pm in Galway City.

Christophe is described as being 5’8″ in height, of a stocky build with brown short hair and has white skin with a sallow complexion.

When last seen Christophe was wearing a black coat, black pants, a black woollen hat and a brown pair of boots.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have any information to come forward and contact them at Cobh Garda Station on 021 – 4908530, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
