Gardai in Co Tipperary have confirmed that they have seized 12 pups as part of their anti dog theft campaign.
It is understood that the 12 dogs were seized in Templemore area on Tuesday following suspected neglect.
Gardai say they were assisted by the ISPCA and local aninal welfare group The Haven Rescue.
It is understood that the 12 pups have been taken into care and are receiving the appropriate care.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing
