Gardaí and customs have confirmed they have seized 22,000 cigarettes at Dublin Airport.
The counterfeit cigarettes, believed to worth an estimated €12,000, were discovered in the luggage of a passenger arriving in Dublin from Sweden.
A 45-year-old Lithuanian man was arrested, charged, and remanded in custody to appear in court again next Tuesday.
