Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that they have seized a loaded revolver and a car during an operation that was focused on inner city gangland crime.
It is believed the seizure was made on Friday after Gardai carried out an operation in the Pidgeon House Road area of Dublin 4.
Although no arrests have been made, Gardai have said they are currently investigating the incident.
