As part of their crackdown on traffic violations, the Guards have confiscated a variety of e-scooters and mopeds, reports FM 104.
According to the Indo, authorities from the Dublin Metropolitan Region used the recently amended Road Traffic and Roads Act to seize eight e-scooters and thirty-three e-mopeds.

Over the course of many days this week, the 40 cars were confiscated around the Dublin region.
Using throttle-assisted e-mopeds that were unregistered and uninsured, as well as exceeding the maximum allowed speed or power output, were among the offences, reports FM 104.
