The final death toll of Wednesday evening’s shooting incident in Germany has risen to 11, including the gunman.
The shooting took place in the Germany city of Hanau, in the southwest of the country. The perpetrator shot nine people across several bars before returning to his home and shooting his mother and himself dead.
The bars targeted are known to be frequented by Kurds and other ethnicities, prompting authorities to brand the attack as ‘racially motivated.’
