Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams has claimed he will not resign over the Mairia Cahill rape scandal.
Speaking this morning, Adams said he acted approximately and there was no cover up.
Ms Cahill has claimed she was raped by an IRA member and was then subjected to a Kangaroo court where she had to face her abuser while giving evidence about what happened.
Adams said he has a mandate from the people who elected him and he will not be resigning.
