A 12-year-old girl has been taken to hospital following a fall near the Rock of Cashel this afternoon.
It is reported that the young girl was airlifted to hospital after falling onto a rock near the attraction.
Although it is believed that the girl’s injuries are not life-threatening, they have been described as serious.
The incident is reported to have occurred at lunchtime and the girl was taken to University Hospital Limerick shortly afterwards.
