Girl, 3, keeps herself and her baby brother alive for three days following parents murder-suicide




A three-year-old girl has been praised after some how kept her two-month-old baby brother alive for a number of days after their parents were killed in a murder-suicide.

The incident which occurred in the Chatsworth area of Los Angeles, has seen police officials and welfare authorities praise the girl for her heroic actions.

According to The Los Angeles Daily News, the two children were remarkably found alive on Easter Sunday after their parents were killed in a murder suicide on Thursday April 16th.

Although the children were found dehydrated and hungry, they were unharmed following the tragic incident.

It is understood the pair were found after their Grandfather called police concerned for his family’s welfare after he recieved no response for a number of days.

Police investigating the incident say the children’s father David Parsa who is known to have had mental health issues is believed to killed their mother Mihoko Koike Parsa, and himself following an argument on Thursday.

However remarkably the children survived after the little girl who has been described as a bright child managed to take care of her brother for almost three days.

Authorities say the children will now be placed in the care of their mother’s family who are from Japan.
