Sad news this evening, as musician Glenn Frey from The Eagles, passes away at the age of 67.

It is understood he died due to complications to arthritis and pneumonia.

Frey was behind some of the band’s biggest hits, including Take It Easy, Lyin’ Eyes, and Heartache Tonight.

He also co-wrote Hotel California and Desperado with his bandmate Don Henley.

The band, his family, and friends and fans worldwide have today paid their tributes in honour of a long and distinguished musical career.
