Good Friday Services will be shown on RTE from Knock Shrine – People are asked to share with their elderly friends and neighbours




Good Friday Services will be broadcast on RTE One from 3pm tomorrow from Knock Shrine in Co. Mayo.

Good Friday marks the passing of Jesus by venerating the cross, and hears Sermons focused on world peace, with many priests praying for a cure to coronavirus.

 

There has been much uproar on social media after the government denied people attend worship on Holy Week even though Churches are said to be extremely safe places given their size and social distancing being put in place.

Meanwhile, RTE are showing The Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord, broadcast live from the Basilica of Our Lady Queen of Ireland, Knock Shrine, Co Mayo commemorated the Passion and death of Jesus from 3 to 4pm on RTE One.

People are asked to share this information with their family and friends, especially their elderly family and friends.
