Animal lovers rejoice, as Fota Island is now home to four new Asian lion cubs.

The animals were born in February, but the arrivals were only made public today.

The newborns were born to second-time parents Gira and Shanto, who now have seven offspring.

Asian lions are classified as an endangered species, with an estimated number of just 500 living out in the wild in India.
