There was some good news for expecting parents as the HSE have confirmed that partners will be allowed to attend their 20 week scan.
According to RTE News, both parents will be allowed to attend the 20 week scan following a change in Covid-19 guidelines.
It is understood that partners will also be able to attend emergency situations such as surgical interventions.
The news comes after a petition was signed by 52,000 people who have called for a change in the guidelines.
