Pay rises to be given to Junior Ministers and judges despite Government refusing to give full pay to student nurses




 

The Government have approved a motion to give Junior Ministers and Judges a pay increase.

It is understood that opposition Junior Ministers will be given an increased allowances.

Meanwhile pensions have been restored for judges. The judiciary will also receive a pay rise that is in line with other public pay sectors.

The move has faced strong criticism after the Government refused to provide student nurses with full pay rates.
