There was some good news for employees working at Lidl as the company confirmed that all staff will be entitled to the Living Wage.
In an announcement the company which employs over 4,000 staff in Ireland, said all employees will be entitled to the Living Wage of €12.30 per hour.
The move, which is expected to benefit in the region of 800 employees, comes as the company is committed to providing a better standard of living for staff.
Lidl say that although 85% of its staff are on salaries over €12.30 per hour, the latest increase will help the current 15% who are not on the Living Wage.
