High pressure is predicted to persist over the next few weeks, so windscreens covered in frost won’t be a morning worry anytime soon, reports The Mirror.
It is predicted that the “significantly” above-average temperatures for this time of year will continue, thus it will probably be December before the temperature drops to below freezing.
The weather for next week is expected to be mostly stable, dry, and only sometimes showery in the west, reports The Mirror.
There will be few bright moments today, Saturday, November 2, as the weather will mostly be gloomy or cloudy with the possibility of sporadic precipitation or mist. However, it will be mostly dry and extremely mild for the season, with highs of 15°C during the day and lows of 7°C at night.
A Met Eireann spokesperson said of next week: “High Pressure looks set to be positioned near or to the east of Ireland during the week bringing predominantly settled weather. There is the chance of occasional rain, especially in the west but overall rainfall totals are expected to be below normal. Mean air temperatures are likely to be significantly above normal for early November with frost-free conditions expected,” reports The Mirror.
