Panic, desperation and even recrimination is beginning to become apparent amongst the political and media establishment in the United States and to an extent in Europe as Donald Trump looks on course to return to the White House.
A cross section of polls now show the 45th President of the United States leading or just slightly ahead in all battleground states with the exception of Pennsylvania, which is a dead heat, however, early voting shows Republicans dramatically outpacing their returns up to October 31st compared to the same period in the lead up to the 2020 Presidential election in the Keystone State.
Democrat returns for this period in Pennsylvania are dramatically down this year compared to 2020.
The last two years have been marked by attempts to smear, intimidate, bankrupt, imprison and even murder President Trump in a no holds barred effort by the political/media establishment and leftists to end his bid to once again become Commander-in-Chief, all of which have ended in failure.
Last ditch efforts to once again smear Trump as a Nazi have fell flat as the American public have grown bone weary of this baseless assertion, thrown at him since 2015 and the some media pundits have once again even rolled out the debunked Russia collusion conspiracy theory, suggesting Trump is a Putin puppet.
A lie the FBI has long since admitted was bogus.
Other victories for President Trump have included Virginia removing non-citizens from voter rolls, with the Supreme Court throwing out a Democrat lawsuit to stop this, while in Pennsylvania mail in ballots lacking a date or signature will not be counted, as they were in 2020.
These unverifiable mail in ballots were pivotal in winning the state for Joe Biden in 2020.
While a Trump victory is looking likely, his campaign has warned supporters not to become complacent and other anti-Trump politicians and media pundits have suggested that government should resort to other measures to prevent another Trump Presidency even if he wins, such as declaring him ineligible for the highest office in the land.
However, other experts have warned the consequences for the U.S of such actions are unthinkable.
