Finally it appears as though some sort of normality is in sight as the HSE confirm that over the past 10 days, there’s been a downward trend in numbers of covid-19 in Ireland.
There have been over 214,700 tests carried out in total and have only seen a positive rate of 3.7% over the past week. This is said to be a good indicator that things are moving in the right direction.
90 people are in ICU but nobody has been admitted to ICU over the past 24 hours.
However 23 people have died over the past 24 hours and another 211 cases detected, bringing the total in Ireland to 21,983.
