US President Donald Trump has said he will consider an investigation into Google for treason after more material comes to light exposing their political bias and intentions to influence US elections.
Undercover footage revealed by Project Veritas, a group of investigative journalists led by Ken O’Keefe, showed a senior Google executive stating that the company will not allow a “Trump situation” to take place again as it did in 2016.
Google was one of the largest campaign contributors to Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections and has long been accused and is currently under investigation for attempting to interfere in the political process of the US and push a “progressive” agenda.
The video footage was quickly taken down by YouTube, a subsidiary of Google, but can still be viewed on the Project Veritas website.
Project Veritas also revealed that Google, along with YouTube and Facebook, actively sought to influence Ireland’s 2018 abortion referendum by skewing search results and blocking certain advertisements.
Now billionaire investor Peter Thiel, who founded PayPal and worked on the board of Facebook has said that Google has been infiltrated by Chinese engineers and the company had made the “treasonous decision” to work with the Chinese military.
