Government reportedly aiming to end the majority of Covid-19 restrictions by October




The Government are reportedly aiming to end most Covid-19 restrictions by October.

According to RTE News, the cabinet is set to meet up later today in order to finalise its roadmap for easing restrictions.

Under the proposals the return to the workplace, capacity limits on public transport and live events will be gradually eased over September and October.

It is reported that the Government intend to have most restrictions eased by October 22nd, but basic guidelines such as face masks, social distancing and hand hygiene will remain for the foreseeable future.

The decision to ease restrictions will also be confirmed later today as the Taoiseach is expected to address national following today’s meeting.
