The Government are urging the public to restrict their movements now if they are planning on visiting family members over Christmas.
The government say it won’t be sufficient for people to reduce social contacts just a few days before Christmas.
They say that people must think about their actions now as they would be unable to visit family over the Christmas period, claiming that we don’t want to be in a position were we see a spike in Covid-19 in January.
