There is good news on the jobs front this morning, as medical coding company Fazzi Healthcare has announced the creation of 300 new jobs in Limerick over the next three years.
The company has established a new base in Limerick, supported by IDA Ireland.
Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes, which are then used in a process called International Classification of Diseases (ICD).
The news will signify a very welcome boost for Limerick city and its environs.
