Many, many people think Simon Harris did an atrocious job as Minister for Health and finally he’s been given the door.
The much anticipated cabinet reshuffle follows the election of Fianna Fail’s Micheal Martin.
In a move that will see changes across the board Harris has been replaced in his by Fianna Fail’s Stephen Donnelly.
Amongst other changes Michael McGrath has become the new Minister for Public Expenditure, whilst the Green Party’s Eamon Ryan has become the Minister for Transport, Energy and Climate.
However Fine Gael’s Paschal Donohoe and Simon Coveney will remain in their positions as Minister for Finance and Minister for Foreign Affairs.
