The Minister for Higher Education Simon Harris has said that there is no room for pseudoscience or scaremongering when it comes to the Covid-19 vaccine and has called for a clear message to be spread by Government and TD’s.
Speaking on RTE’s This Week in Politics programme, Harris said that every TD needs to send a clear message and there was no room whatsoever for pseudoscience.
Harris was responding after a number of TD’s reportedly outlined why they wouldn’t take the vaccine when it becomes available.
However Harris urged that people listen to medical professionals when it comes to the vaccine even though they will have legitimate concerns about the vaccine.
He added that we must listen to doctors who have steered us through this pandemic and we as a government must get behind them.
