Harris signs into law regulations that require people coming into Ireland to sign tracking forms

Health Secretary Simon Harris signed regulations requiring all passengers arriving in Ireland to complete a passenger tracking form.

As of next Thursday, it is a criminal offence that passengers do not complete the form and do not indicate where they would like to be for the next 14 days.

Passengers arriving in the country must be isolated for 14 days.

If the form is not completed, a maximum of €2,500 or a maximum of six months in prison will be imposed.

The rules apply until June 18 and will then be revised.
