Warm dry week ahead as temperatures could reach 25C

Ireland could be set to see its first real spell of summer as temperatures could reach 25C in some places this week.

According to Met Éireann, the coming week ahead is looking promising as it will be largely dry and sunny throughout.

Although some scattered showers are expected in northern and western regions on Monday, the rest of the week is set to be humid and dry.

The national forecaster say Thursday and Friday will see the best of the weather although they’re unsure how high temperatures will reach.

However some forecasters say the country could see highs of 25C.
