Dr Michael Mina an Epidemiologist, Immunologist, Physician and member of Harvard’s School of Public Health and Medical School has said that NPHET’s Philip Nolan doesn’t “appear to know” what he’s talking about with regards to his criticism of Lidl’s decision to sell antigen testing.
Professor Nolan tweeted:
“Can I get some snake oil with that? It makes for a great salad dressing with a pinch of salt and something acerbic. Stay safe when socialising outdoors over the next few weeks. Small numbers, distance, masks. These antigen tests will not keep you safe.”
In response to this the Harvard academic replied:
“For an advisor to your government – you don’t appear to know what you are talking about with respect to rapid tests. The comment adds nothing of benefit and further sows confusion. You should be ashamed of your demeanour here”
NPHET have been blasted by numerous experts and health professionals for their alleged fear mongering and have been accused of being power hungry and megalomaniacal with a view to keep the public in terror to maintain their unelected positions of absolute authority.
