Tributes have poured in from around the UK and even Europe for David Amess MP after he was brutally murdered in his constituency on Friday afternoon.

Well known and well respected British politician Sir David Amess was stabbed to death in his consistency office in Essex.

The 69-yr-old father of five was stabbed while he met with public in his constituency.

Police arrested a 25-yr-old man on suspicion of murder after the stabbing at a church in Leigh-on-Sea.

It’s understood that police recovered a knife and were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

Mr Amess was a practicing Catholic who did great work for pro life causes in the UK, along with animal welfare and helping to supply fuel to the most vulnerable in society.
