“He was a walking Saint” – Tributes pour in from around Ireland for Brother Kevin Crowley of the Capuchin Centre

Tributes have poured in from around the country for the absolutely gentleman Brother Kevin Crowley who sadly died on Wednesday morning aged 90.

He served 50 years at the Capuchin Centre and had personally helped endless numbers of homeless people reset their life and get back on their feet.

People are saying that he truly was a walking Saint and that he was nothing short of a living legend and true gentleman.

Brother Kevin of the Capuchin Centre had recently confirmed that the centre was serving up to 900 meals per day to the homeless community and those in need.

Brother Kevin had said that the centre were giving out food vouchers prior to Christmas Day for the likes of SuperValu to the value of €40 for people to get groceries and necessities for Christmas.

Brother Kevin did great work for the homeless community with many feeling that the government could take a leaf out of his book.
