The boy tragically killed this morning when he was cycling to school at 9:15am on the Old Dublin to Galway RD at Marshbrook, Co. Offaly has been named locally.
11-yr-old Tim Ross was struck by a car on the road and tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident when emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the accident.
It’s understood that Tim was a fifth class pupil at St Manchan’s National School in Tubber and the eldest of three young children.
Tim’s younger sisters Orla and Aoife are also pupils at the school.
