After the horrifically sad fire that engulfed the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris yesterday afternoon, various journalists have managed to sneak a peak of what remains inside.
Thankfully, it’s understood that the Blessed Sacrament was rescued from the fire.
There God there’s some good news as the majority of the inside of the Church seems to be fully intact.
The main Crucifix in the Cathedral along with the alter appear to be fully intact. Debris has fallen onto the pews and around the ground, but there actually, perhaps surprisingly, appears to be a lot left to work with for a full reconstruction.
