A new survey has revealed that 70% of people would be in favour of an United Ireland.
According to the poll carried out by LottoLand, adults across the country would support the idea of re-unification following Brexit.
The poll which was carried out in the immediate aftermath of Britain’s original scheduled exit date of March 29th, found that 70% of people in Connacht and Ulster were in favour of the idea.
Meanwhile the highest of this who were in favour of re-unification were 18 to 24-year-olds at 80%.
However those over the age of 65 were the least in favour of the idea with only 53% of respondents in favour of an United Ireland.
