Meet Warren – a heroic Irishman, who is believed to be the first to stop the attacker on Dublin’s Parnell St on Thursday afternoon.

Warren’s wife, Stacey Power Donohoe took to Facebook on Friday evening saying that her husband deserves the praise for being first on the scene in yesterday’s incident.

Brazilian man Caio Benicio has been interviewed all day for playing his part, hitting the attacker with his helmet.

But little has been spoken about Warren – maybe because he’s Irish?

Garda Commissioner Drew Harris said that members of the public intervened in a stabbing incident in Dublin but didn’t go into details.

Harris said: “It would appear that following the incident itself, and in part of the incident itself, members of the public who were passing by intervened and in effect grappled with this individual… and that allowed gardaí on their arrival to arrest this individual,” reports Breaking News.

The incident resulted in injuries to two adults and three children.

Warren’s wife took to Facebook and posted the below stating that her husband was the first on the scene, took the knife off the thug and managed to get the knife to a safe location.

Warren’s image should be shared near and far.
