Charlie Bird was diagnosed with MND last October. Since then, he’s been taken the hearts of the nation with his “Walk With Charlie” charity efforts.
He presented the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Pieta House with almost €3.4 million combined.
Both charities will receive half the money raised with Charlie saying that it was one of the best days of his life.
