Offally’s Shane Lowry has managed to win the Irish Open after he overcame a mid-round wobble to battle past both Tommy Fleetwood and awful conditions with rain and wind to win by six points.
Thousands surrounded the 18th hole to cheers of Ole, Ole, Ole to watch Lowry put the Open to bed.
