Many people on social media are saying that Eamon Ryan is giving the Irish public the two fingers in relation to the out-of-control fuel prices.
Some social media users are saying that Ryan is living on cloud cuckoo land and that he’s completely out of touch with the Irish public.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get anymore farcical from this government, you’d be surprised yet again.
He’s known for his outlandish comments of late, including advising people to grow their own lettuce during the pandemic, but perhaps the Green Party leader Eamon Ryan has outdone himself with this one.
As fuel prices go through the roof at the pumps, people are left fuming and under immense pressure to try and keep their car on the road.
Eamon Ryan has the solution – he says people should drive slower in their cars in order to try and save fuel.
He says people should start driving at 100kmh instead of 120kmh so that they could save some 25% on their fuel consumption.
Along with that, Ryan says people should have shorter showers to save on electricity bills.
People on social media are saying that Ryan is completely out of touch and that he should lose his seat in the next election due to living in his own bubble.
