High Speed Cost: New report finds Ireland has the second highest broadband prices in the EU

According to new report the Republic of Ireland is the second highest in the EU for Broadband prices.

The latest figures which were analysed by the European Commission show Irish consumers pay an average of €69.20 per month which is the second highest across the entire EU and is only just below the Belgians how pay slightly more at €69.90 per month.

The report also found that the cheapest location in the EU for broadband is Poland, where it only costs a mere €20.80 per month.

The European Commission say the latest figures are based on prices from October 2015, whih cover the cost of internet access, fixed telephones and television bundles.
