Music and entertainment retailer HMV has entered administration for a second time in six years, putting over 2,000 jobs at risk.
The retailer, which ceased trading in Ireland in recent times due to financial difficulties, operates 130 outlets across the UK and employs about 2,200 people.
But after weaker than expected trading during the crucial Christmas season, the chain was forced to enter into administration.
Talks are now underway with suppliers and potential buyers to try and draw up a rescue plan.
