Just as the country has got rid of Storm Gertrude, another one is on the way. Storm Henry is making it’s way towards Ireland and is expected to hit the country on Monday.
The north and north-west of the country will bear the brunt of the storm. Storm Henry will bring with it strong winds and rain when it finally makes its way across the Atlantic this week.
According to Met Éireann, Monday will be “extremely windy across the country and possibly stormy along the north and northwest coasts, with the strong to gale force and gusty southwest winds giving some damaging gusts at times there.”
