Hopes for an Indian Summer next week fading fast

indian

Earlier in the week, it was predicted that an Indian Summer was on its way to Irish shores, bringing much needed warmth and sunshine.

However, such predictions are now being downgraded to a period without so much rain. It will remain largely dry and settled for the week, but no warmth or heat to speak of.

There will be light to moderate northerly breezes, and daytime temperatures will hover around 13-14C in the north, and 16-17C in southern areas.

Today, Saturday, will bring good sunny spells and some showers, mainly in the west. Temperatures will hit around 19C in parts. Tomorrow will see a similar weather pattern.
