In a truly horrifying story a court in the UK has heard of how a 13-year-old boy took part in the brutal gang rape of a 20 year old women which lasted 4 hours and was filmed on a mobile phone.
It is believed that the young teen along with six older men brutally attacked a 20-year-old woman, who was walking through a street in Southampton on her way home after visiting friends. The victim who has not been identified for legal reasons apparently met with one of her attackers Mihaita Palie before she was subjected to the traumatic ordeal.
Mr Palie (33) was one of seven defendants who appeared in court this afternoon charged with the sexual assault of the young women at a house in Southampton, Hampshire England. The court heard testimony of the young woman went back to the house with Palie whom she had met on the street and entered the house which had two bedrooms one of which had two double beds and a sofa bed.
Southampton Crown Court then heard of how the young woman was subjected to the horrifying four hour attack which was filmed by one of the defendants on his mobile phone. Lead prosecutor Simon Foster, told the court: “In this room were these defendants and they subsequently subjected her to rape and other sexual abuse as described in the indictment.”
The jury also heard of the young woman somehow managed to make her way to a nearby telephone box to call police to report the disgraceful assault in the early hours of the morning on January 16th.
Prosecutor Foster told the court: “The young woman telephoned the police. They came and found her. She told them about the address in which she had spent a few hours.”The defendants were arrested and she later gave a three hour account in interview.”
The seven defendants named Palie, 33, Nicut, 20, Octavian Militaru, 37, Ion Matei, 41, Nicolae Ghinea, 21, Radu-Florin Panciuc, 21, and an unidentified 13-year-old boy will stand trial for four weeks before a verdict is decided. 33 year old Palie is charged with rape and attempted rape, Nicut is also accused of two counts of rape and one of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
Whilst Militariu faces two counts of rape, and the remaining men all face one charge of rape each. The seven men have all pleaded guilty to the charges put before them.
